Uminonakamichi Seaside Park

The park offers seasonal flower viewing. The popular "Animal Forest," features over 500 animals of over 50 species including squirrel monkeys, kangaroos, and capybaras. Visitors can also enjoy  the outdoor leisure pool, camping, and a variety of other activities.

Located inn Uminonakamichi, a sandbar-like formation surrounded by Hakata Bay and the Genkai Sea, this national park stretches approximately 6 kilometers from east to west and covers a vast area of 350 hectares. Within the park, visitors can enjoy the seasonal flowers and cute animals.

Flowers bloom in the park throughout the year in spring, summer, fall, and winter.

Tulips bloom beautifully from early to late April in the Niji-no-Kadan (Rainbow Flowerbed) and the Irodori-no-Kadan (Colorful Flowerbed).

The theme of this open zoo is interacting with the animals in a natural zoo.

Around 500 cute animals of about 50 species, including kangaroos, capybaras, Bolivian squirrel monkeys, and flamingos, live here at a leisurely pace.
