Just a 3-minute walk from the hostel, the Kawabata Shopping Arcade is lined with long-established stores. One of them is Kadota Chochin, a lantern workshop and shop established in 1895. You can create your own original lanterns surrounded by the store's large and impressive lanterns.  

Hakata Doll Painting Experience: Why not join the Hakata Doll painting experience?  

The hostel staff will help you create wonderful memories through the experience of painting Hakata Dolls. The painted Hakata Dolls are very compact, and you can take them home as souvenirs of your time in Hakata!

There is a public space available for use 24 hours a day.  

Located on the 9th-floor lounge, the stylish and open Books & Lounge is open 24 hours a day for computer work and study. There is also an open kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, kettle, microwave, induction stove, and other electrical appliances for simple cooking and self-catering.

Non-guests can also use the lounge.  

You can watch your favorite programs on the TV in the lounge. In addition, there are over 1,500 books on Fukuoka history, tourist information, novels, etc., to read as much as you want. A drink menu is also available.
